Wijnne Barends takes delivery of second of six 4,200DWT vessels

Spliethoff Group subsidiary Wijnne Barends has taken delivery of Lady Hestia, the second of six containerships in a series ordered from Indian shipbuilder Chowgule and Company.

The Conoship-designed newbuild has an LOA of 98.2 metres, a beam of 13.4 metres, a deadweight of 4,200 tonnes, and capacity for 60 TEUs.

Lady Hestia is powered by one Cat-MAK 6M25 2,730kW diesel engine that delivers a speed of 13 knots.
