Tsuneishi delivers first unit of new Bangkok Max containership series

Tsuneishi Shipbuilding has delivered the first unit of the company’s newest series of 1,900TEU container carrier built to adhere to the restrictions of the largest vessel size permitted to enter Thailand’s Bangkok Port.

The vessel has an LOA of approximately 172 metres, a beam of 28.4 metres, a depth of 14.5 metres, a full load draught of 9.5 metres, and a deadweight of approximately 21,700 tonnes.

The Bangkok Max carrier was built at Tsuneishi’s shipyard in Cebu, Philippines. It has been delivered to an unnamed customer.
