Swire Shipping welcomes second 2,400TEU vessel to fleet

Swire Shipping recently introduced the container vessel Chefoo into its fleet.

The vessel will be deployed on the company’s South East Asia service which connects South East Asia to Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.

Chefoo is the second 2,400TEU vessel to join the Swire Shipping fleet after sister vessel Changsha (pictured), which was handed over in March of this year and is also operating on the company’s South East Asia service. Two other vessels from the same series are scheduled to be delivered before the end of the year.
