SAFEEN Feeders adds vessel to Arabian Gulf fleet

UAE vessel operator and the AD Ports Group subsidiary SAFEEN Feeders has acquired a containership for use by its feeder service fleet in the Arabian Gulf.

SAFEEN Pearl, formerly called Vega Virgo, will be deployed on the company’s UAE Coastal Service (UCO), providing connections to UAE coastal ports via a hub at Khalifa Port.

The 966TEU vessel was built in South Korea in 2012.
