JMU delivers 3,055TEU newbuild to Wan Hai

Japan Marine United (JMU) handed over a new containership to Wan Hai Lines Singapore on Wednesday, December 9.

Named Wan Hai 323, the DNV GL-classed newbuild has a length of 203.5 metres, a beam of 34.8 metres, a depth of 16.6 metres, a draught of 11.5 metres, a deadweight of 37,160 tonnes, space for 25 crewmembers, and capacity for 3,055 TEUs.

One MAN B&W 7S70ME-C10.5 diesel engine delivers a speed of 21.6 knots.
