Jiangnan Shipyard delivers 21,237TEU containership

Two contianerships pass each other

Jiangnan Shipyard delivered a container ship to China COSCO Shipping Corporation last week.

The 21,237TEU Cosco Shipping Universe has a LOA of 400 metres and is 58.6 metres wide. It has a maximum capacity of 198,000 tonnes and can travel at 19 knots.

Jiangnan Shipyard will produce five more such container ships for COSCO Shipping, scheduled to be delivered by 2019.
