Fesco adds second 822TEU vessel to fleet

Fesco Transportation Group has welcomed another 822TEU containership to its fleet with the introduction of the 2003-built Francop.

The 137- by 21-metre ice class vessel has been renamed Fesco Moneron after the Moneron island situated in the Gulf of Tartary 43 kilometers from the southwest coast of Sakhalin.

The vessel is the second 822TEU containership to join the Fesco fleet after near-identical sister Fesco Magadan, which entered service earlier this year. Both vessels were built by Germany’s JJ Sietas Schiffswerft.
