CMA CGM suspends vessel calls to Ukraine

The CMA CGM Group has said it has been closely monitoring the situation in Ukraine and the Black Sea region and has decided to suspend all vessel calls to the country until further notice.

The company said its BEX and BSMAR services will omit Odessa and that all bookings to and from Odessa are suspended. Also, all floating cargo to Ukraine will be redirected to the ports of Constanta in Romania, Tripoli in Lebanon, or Piraeus in Greece.

CMA CGM added that it will continue to monitor the situation and take additional measures as necessary to protect its employees and its vessel crews and to allow the transportation of customers’ goods.
