CMA CGM christens newest LNG-powered containership

CMA CGM held an official naming ceremony for its newest containership on Tuesday, December 22.

CMA CGM Louvre is the fourth in a series of nine LNG-powered ships ordered from China’s Jiangnan Shipyard. Once completed, it will have a length of 400 metres, a beam of 61 metres, and capacity for 23,000 TEUs.

CMA CGM Louvre and its sisters will be the world’s largest LNG-powered container vessels.
