Borealis acquires one vessel, sells another

Marshall Islands-registered company Borealis Finance has sold the containership Bomar Hermes to an unidentified owner for a sales price of approximately US$6 million.

The 2006-built, 2,510TEU vessel has now been delivered to its new owner.

Borealis has also confirmed the purchase of the 2012-built, 3,600TEU vessel Elbsun from an unidentified third party. The vessel was aqcuired for around US$11.6 million and will soon begin operational sailing under the Borealis banner.
