Capital Liberty Invest, a joint venture between Capital Ship Management and Liberty One, has made its first vessel acquisitions via two 2008-built 1,878TEU containerships.

Sister ships Ibrahim Dede (pictured) and Cafer Dede will come under the technical management of Liberty Blue under the new names Asterix and Apostolos II, respectively.

Asterix was chartered to an unnamed containership operator shortly after the acquisition while Apostolos II will be formally taken over at the end of the first quarter of 2019.
