Naval Group unveils new stealth submarine concept

Naval Group has unveiled the first images of its new concept design for a stealth submarine.

The vessel will have a length of 80 metres, a submerged displacement of 3,200 tonnes, two electric motors, and space for 15 crew as well as up to 20 additional special operations personnel. Armament will include torpedoes, cruise missiles, and anti-ship missiles.

The submarine will be capable of remaining submerged for months at a time.
