The future Philippine Navy frigate BRP Antonio Luna has begun undergoing acceptance trials off South Korea.

The ship is the second of two Jose Rizal-class frigates built by Hyundai Heavy Industries for the Philippine Navy. It will be capable of anti-air warfare, anti-surface warfare, and anti-submarine warfare.

The future Antonio Luna is expected to depart on its delivery voyage to the Philippines sometime during the first quarter of 2021.
