Keel laid for Russian corvette Ussuriysk

United Shipbuilding Corporation's (USC) Amur Shipyard has laid the keel for the third corvette under Project 22800, also known as the Karakurt-class.

The corvette will be named Ussuriysk after a city in Primorsky Krai in Russia's far east.

The vessel will be assigned to the Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet upon entering service.
