UK: The passenger vessel 'Moon Clipper' was involved in an accident on the Thames in London last Wednesday, leaving 14 passengers injured, reports the BBC.
The vessel was carrying around 50 people at around 7.00pm (local time) when it collided with the Tower Millenium Pier, on the river's north bank between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. Of the 14 people who sustained injuries, four reportedly required hospital treatment, while others were given first aid at the scene. No other vessels were involved and no-one on the pier was hurt.
The Metropolitan Police have reportedly launched an investigation into the incident. The boat has been taken out of service while its operator Thames Clippers assesses the damage.
