Canada: After 43 years of service, BC Ferries' 'Queen of Prince Rupert' was officially retired on April 21 at a special ceremony held in Prince Rupert and attended by over 200 people.
BC Ferries explained that the arrival of the new 'Northern Expedition' allows for the retirement of the 'Queen of Prince Rupert' as 'Northern Expedition' will enter service on the Port Hardy – Prince Rupert route in May.
