Danish shipping company DFDS could be among a number of interested parties in the sale of Polish ferry operator, the Polish Baltic Shipping Company (Polferries).
Polferries operators a number of passenger ferries, ranging in lengths between 127 metres and 163 metres long.
DFDS, which has a passenger ferry arm, DFDS Seaways, said that the company wanted to be part of the process of consolidating the market and the Baltic Sea.
Another Danish big name, Maersk, is also rumoured to be linked with the purchase.
