Over 1,300 members of the public toured BC Ferries' new vessel, the 'Northern Expedition' during a public open house on May 2 in Prince Rupert, Canada.
A further 650 people viewed the ship on the Queen Charlotte Islands on May 3.
BC Ferries said that public response to the 'Northern Expedition' was positive and that many customers were looking forward to their first voyage on the new ships.
A third and final open house will be held on May 17 in Port Hardy. The 'Northern Expedition' will make its inaugural sailing on May 18, departing Port Hardy for Prince Rupert at 7.30am.
