Nine people arrested as one dies in Greek ferry blaze

Nine people have been arrested in connection with a fire on a passenger ferry in Drapetsona Shipyard in Greece after one person died.

Greek national newspaper Kathimerini reported that police arrested a safety supervisor, the vessel's captain and chief engineer, and six men overlooking the different repair crews carrying out work.

After firefighters controlled the blaze, the body of the vessel's 50-year-old electrician was found.

All nine suspects were released while preliminary investigations began.
