Fincantieri and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings have signed a contract for the construction of two new cruise ships for the Oceania Cruises brand.

The two vessels, which will comprise the new Allura-class, are scheduled to be delivered in 2022 and 2025.

The 67,000-tonne, 1,200-passenger vessels will serve as the new flagships of the Oceania fleet once they enter service.
