Dalian-based Aurora Yachts has handed over an impressive jet boat for use in the tourism industry around the Chinese coastal city of Qingdao.
This jet boat is the first of a range with single and double jet engines constructed by Aurora Yachts.
Operated by a crew of three, it will be able to take 12 passengers at a time on thrill rides. Accordingly, 16 lifejackets are stowed on board.
Designed by New Zealand-based Robson Design, it is one of the first tourism jet boats built in China with CCS classification approval.
The hull is specifically designed for operation in the sea rather than in rivers, as is common of adventure tourism boats in New Zealand and Australia. However, even with 12 passengers on board and in the open sea, the vessel can still spin and skid like a riverboat, enhancing the passengers' experience.
