AFAI Southern Shipyard and CoCo Yachts Holland have announced the launching of the first Urban Sprinter 2000-series passenger vessel.
Designed by CoCo Yachts Holland and built by AFAI Southern Shipyard in Guangzhou, China, for SETRANS Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, the vessel is the first of a seven-boat order.
Once built and put into service, the fleet of seven vessels will sail on Guanabara Bay on the Rio de Janeiro-Niterói route.
Following commissioning of the vessel sea trials will be held in October this year.
Final delivery to Rio de Janeiro will occur in November.
