Aboitiz Transport System Corporation (ATSC) is in the process of modernising a pair of second-hand Ro-Ro vessels, reports Manila Bulletin, in order to expand its business in the Philippines.
In March 2010, a Japanese company handed over the PHP350 million (US$8 million) vessels, 'Superferry 20' and 'Superferry 21'. The modernisation programme currently underway is expected to be completed by March this year.
