Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) has completed sea trials of a new platform supply vessel (PSV) being built for Chinese offshore services company SinoOcean.

The 83- by 18-metre vessel has been named Guo Hai Min Qiang. In addition to operating as a PSV, it will also be equipped to deploy and recover ROVs for inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) work.

The vessel will sail under the Panamanian flag and will be delivered to SinoOcean later this year.
