China Shipbuilding Group (CSG) subsidiary Shandong Shipbuilding Industry launched a new self-elevating platform (SEP) into the water on Thursday, March 26.
Once completed, it will have an LOA of 93 metres, a beam of 41 metres, and a draught of 4.8 metres.
The platform was ordered by an unnamed Chinese customer. It will be used primarily for offshore wind installation duties.
