Canada's Bridgemans Services Group has taken delivery of a 44-foot (13.4-metre) crew transfer vessel, named Bridge Cat 49, for use in British Columbia.

The crewboat accommodates up to 47 passengers and is built to meet Transport Canada passenger vessel requirements.

Bridge Cat 49 is powered by twin Cummins QSL9 405hp (300kW) diesel inboard engines, paired with ZF marine transmissions.

The robust navigation and electronics suite includes Garmin GPSMAP multi-function displays, radar, and VHF radios, ensuring enhanced situational awareness.

The vessel is equipped with an Espar/Eberspacher heating system, Fireboy-Xintex fire suppression system, and Delta T ventilation for safety and comfort in various operating conditions.

The 45-foot aluminium hull and 18.5-foot beam ensures stability, and Bridge Cat 49 has seating for 45 passengers and a three-person crew.

The vessel has a 500-gallon (1,900-litre) fuel capacity and a lightship weight of approximately 43,000 lbs (19.5 tonnes).
