Topaz Energy and Marine has announced a new contract for its West Africa operation. Topaz will supply the platform supply vessel 'Topaz Faye' to a large oil and gas company for 18 months to support offshore production operations. The contract is worth approximately US$11 million.
The deployment of 'Topaz Faye' in West Africa brings the total number of vessels under operation by Topaz in the region to 10, representing approximately 10 per cent of the company's total fleet.
The vessel is rated for DP-2 dynamic positioning and was recently delivered to Topaz with four other sister vessels.
