Turkey's Sedef Shipyard has completed a newbuild floating dock with an 11,500-tonne lifting capacity.

The pontoon deck length is 160 metres long, with an overall width at the pontoon deck of 36 metres and 37.5 metres at the upper deck. The working width between dock walls is 28 metres, while the maximum immersion draught is 12 metres with a depth of 3.5 metres.

It has a surfacing time of two hours maximum and features two travelling pedestal cranes (marine type). Three sets of Lindenberg generators, each 585kW, power the vessel. A fire-fighting system, internal communications, an announce system, shore-supply connections and a fresh water system are all installed.

A fully air-conditioned galley, restroom, laundry and 10 double cabins aim to increase comfort for a crew of 20.
