PetroVietnam builds 60-metre jack up rig

Work on a 60-metre jack up rig for PetroVietnam began at the PV Shipyard in Vung Tau on June 26.

The vessel will be deployed for oil and gas exploration and exploitation.

With a project price of US$180 million, the LeTourneau Technologies-designed rig will be built over a period of 32 months.
