Published on:

Solstad Offshore has confirmed that the conditions have now been met for contract awards with Petrobras, and the anchor-handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels Normand Sigma and Normand Sirius have been allocated to the agreements.

The contracts are scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2026 and will each run for a firm period of four years. The total gross value of the two contracts is approximately $210 million.

Both vessels will be operating under bareboat charter agreements from Solstad Maritime to Solstad Offshore, which is the formal contract party with Petrobras.

Solstad Offshore currently holds a 27.3 per cent ownership stake in Solstad Maritime.

The vessels are expected to operate offshore Brazil for the duration of the contracts. Further details regarding mobilisation and operational readiness will be communicated closer to the start date.
