NMDC Energy H1 2025 profit rises 16 per cent as revenue surges
Offshore support company NMDC Energy has announced a 41 per cent year-on-year surge in revenue to AED8.2 billion ($2.2 billion) for the first half of 2025. Net profit for the period rose by 16 per cent to AED583 million.
The company, a majority-owned subsidiary of NMDC Group, attributed the sustained growth to "disciplined execution" amid challenging market conditions.
For the second quarter of 2025, revenue grew 21 per cent year on year to AED4.4 billion, while net profit rose by 12 per cent to AED366 million. The company's order backlog stood at AED49.9 billion at the end of June 2025, following new contract awards totaling AED13.9 billion in the first half of the year.
During the second quarter, the company's new 400,000-square-metre fabrication yard in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia, became fully operational. This facility is intended to strengthen the company’s offshore EPC and modular construction capabilities.
The company also announced a three-year extension to its long-term agreement with Aramco, with an option for an additional three years.
