EDT Offshore, Synergy Marine form ship management joint venture

Cyprus-based EDT Offshore, a provider of integrated marine and subsea services, and Singapore-based global ship management company the Synergy Marine Group have formed EDT Synergy Shipmanagement, a new joint venture company designed to deliver tailored ship management solutions to customers in the offshore industry.

Registered in Cyprus, this new entity will combine EDT Offshore's extensive expertise in offshore operations with the Synergy Marine Group's technical management and associated maritime solutions. Together, the joint venture aims to address the unique challenges of offshore operations while helping their customers achieve their decarbonisation and digitalisation goals.

EDT Synergy Shipmanagement will help customers address challenges in offshore vessel management including the high energy demands of dynamic positioning, limited access to alternative fuels, and the growing need for retrofitting vessels while minimising environmental impact.

The joint venture will also support the maintenance and upgrading of offshore facilities and the expansion of offshore exploration and production activities worldwide.
