The BSI Marine Equipment Group has purchased Danish control systems company Lyngaa Marine, which creates alarms and control systems for superyachts, commercial marine, fishing boats and large ship sectors.

Founded in 2008, Lyngaa's alarm and controls range from simple override systems for small fishing vessels to more complex control systems for OSVs, ferries, superyachts and large supply ships.

“The group has worked closely with Lyngaa Marine for several years using their excellent controls in both Hundested and Ocean Marine Systems (OMS) propulsion and thruster deliveries," commented Mark Barwell, Chief Commercial Officer for the BSI Marine Equipment Group.

"Their technical knowledge and experience are second to none, and I am excited to see them join the BSI Marine Equipment Group.”

“Today Lyngaa Marine can deliver all types of automation for a ship's engine room and propulsion," added Per Christiansen of Lyngaa Marine, will remain as general manager.
