More crewboats for Swissco

Cheoy Lee has delivered a second pair of monohull crewboats to Singapore-based operator Swissco Holdings.

Built to an Australian design, the vessel type measures 36 metres in length overall, with a waterline length of 34.7 metres, a beam of 7.6 metres, a depth of 3.65 metres, and a maximum draught of 2.3 metres.

Constructed under survey to ABS, the vessel design features 94m2 of aft cargo deck and is capable of carrying up to 50 tonnes. The vessels have a maximum speed of 27 knots and a service speed of 24 knots via three 1,000kW engines.

Inside the main deck passenger compartment, seating has been provided for up to 70, as well as a beverage counter and luggage racks. For the transfer of personnel over the bow, forward doors have been installed for direct access to the foredeck.

Below decks, the vessels accommodate its crew of ten across six cabins. Other crew amenities include a bathroom, laundry, galley and mess, situated aft.

An additional two 36-metre monohull crewboats are under construction at Cheoy Lee for Swissco Holdings.
