Southeast Asian oil and gas operator M3nergy Berhad has celebrated the completion of its latest FPSO vessel, 'Ratu Nusantara', at a launch ceremony in Singapore.
Under the auspices of SKK Migas and PC Ketapang II (PCK2L), the newly named vessel will embark on its inaugural voyage to the Bukit Tua oil and gas field in Indonesia, where it will be operated by state-owned Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas.
Constructed from the 1994-built Aframax tanker 'Scorpius', the converted 'Ratu Nusantara' was extensively refurbished and outfitted over the past 16 months.
The vessel has a processing capacity of 25,000bpd of oil, 77mmscfd of gas, 20,000bpd of water and a storage capacity of 630,000 barrels of processed oil.
