The vessel has been designed as a multi-purpose vessel equipped for fire-fighting with water spray, rescue and standby, offshore supply, oil recovery and other offshore related activities.
The vessel's diesel-electric set comprises three MAN Diesel and Turbo engines, each rated for 2,353kW of power, which turn propellers from Berg. This propulsion system bestows the PSV with a service speed of around 12 knots.
The ship has DP-2 capabilities with one diesel generator standing by, so that while a diesel generator shuts off, the vessel can still be DP-2 capable by activating the third diesel generator.
