Global offshore accommodation company HB Rentals recently announced that it has secured contracts worth in excess of USD317,000 for modules on platforms in the North Sea and Spain.
The contracts have been agreed with various companies including Weatherford International, Transmark EDS, Entier, Expro, and Geoservices. HB Rentals will supply the companies with a range of units including A60 DNV 2.7-1 Zone II Offices, MWD cabins, laboratories, laundry, and four-man accommodation units.
Mike Bradley, director of sales and business development, said: "These recent contracts in the North Sea and Europe are a strong reflection of our ability to meet the demands of our customers on the UK continental shelf (UKCS) from our bases in the UK, Norway and Holland.
HB Rentals operates worldwide with a fleet of more than 400 A60 units containing a mix of 2,4,6,8,10 and 12 man sleeper accommodation cabins, galleries, recreation, laundry and mess rooms, offices, heliports, laboratories, gymnasiums and well-support cabins. It provides custom fit-outs as desired by its global customer base.
The company claims it is the only specialist operating worldwide and capable of supplying units which meet the latest American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) and International Maritime Organisation (IMO) regulations and are fully Det Norske Veritas (DNV) approved.
It offers full certification, modification, offshore installation, hook up and commissioning services as well as maintenance support with a 24/7 technical service worldwide.
