The Havyard Group has signed a contract for the tenth consecutive Havyard 832 L platform supply vessel with Supply Service from the Faroe Islands.
The vessel is to be delivered by August 2011 and will be built at Havyard Leirvik in Norway. The contract value for the newbuilding is more than NOK300 million (US$47 million).
Main dimensions of the vessel are an 86-metre length, 17.6-metre beam and deadweight of 4,200 tonnes. With 900m2 of deck area and accommodation for 24, the vessel will be designed for a service speed of 15 knots.
