Malaysian shipyard Shin Yang has completed a floating dock with ClassNK notification.
Based in the Port of Kuching, the dock was designed by United Ship Design and built by Piasau Slipways.
The 62-metre long steel dock has a beam of 23 metres and a depth of 3.6 metres. Its maximum lifting capacity is 1,800 tonnes. A Cummins QSM 11 generator is installed along with a 20-metre boom crane, rated at 1.6 tonnes, and two 10-tonne hydraulic tugger winches.
The dock will operate in sheltered water by a crew of three.
