Farstad awarded charter contracts from Woodside and Apache

Norway: Farstad Shipping has been awarded several charter contracts from Australia's Woodside Petroleum.

'Lady Grace' has received a further twelve-month charter extension beginning April 30.

The AHTS 'Far Stream's' contract has been extended for a period of one year (plus two one-year operations) beginning April 20.

Woodside has extended the contract with the AHTS 'Far Strait' for a period of four months from April 20 with four two-month options.

Finally, Woodside has awarded a twelve-month firm contract to 'Far Spirit' commencing in May with two one-year options.  

The vessels mentioned above will be engaged in Woodside's ongoing drilling program in Australian waters.

In the North Sea, the PSV 'Far Strider' has been awarded an 18-month firm contract by Apache North Sea commencing in May with two six-month options.

Total value of the contracts including options is US$101 million.
