Rowan Companies' ultra-deepwater drillship Rowan Renaissance (pictured) has been awarded a one-well contract in Mexico by Petronas Mexico for an estimated duration of 80 days that is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2019.
Following the initial contract term, Petronas has a one-well priced option with an estimated duration of 80 days.
Further, ExxonMobil has exercised the third of four options for the ultra-deepwater drillship Rowan Relentless for operations in the US Gulf of Mexico.
The option has an expected duration of 180 days.
Rowan Relentless has been under contract with ExxonMobil since September 2018.
