BP said on Wednesday it had started planned maintenance work at the Сentral Azeri platform in Azerbaijan, which would last 11 days.

The platform is part of the Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) field development project, which BP operates.

Oil production at the platform will be reduced but not halted during the maintenance, BP said, while production at the East Azeri and West Azeri platforms will be temporarily reduced.

ACG's production in 2025 averaged about 330,000 barrels per day, including 90,000 bpd from the Central Azeri platform, 43,000 bpd from the East Azeri platform and 76,000 bpd from the West Azeri platform, according to BP's website.

In 2025, ACG delivered an average of around eight million cubic metres per day of ACG-associated gas to Azerbaijan.

Production from the other ACG platforms, as well as platforms on the Shah Deniz field and Sangachal terminal operations will continue as normal, BP said.
