Tight quantities of anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels in Norway has sent daily rates to a six-month high last week.
The 297 tonne bollard pull 'Siem Amethyst', built in 2011, is banking NOK500,000 (USD87,100) from Conoco for the Maersk Innovator rig move from Esbjerg – more than double previous levels.
Only one vessel now remains available in Norway, brokers said.
