NMDC Group reported revenue of AED21.408 billion ($5.83 billion) for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, an increase of four per cent from AED20.545 billion in the same period of 2025.

Net profit after tax fell 14 per cent to AED2.374 billion from AED2.764 billion, with the net profit margin narrowing to 11.1 per cent from 13.5 per cent. Earnings per share for the period were AED2.68.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) declined seven per cent to AED3.559 billion from AED3.842 billion. The group linked the decline to recognised cost overruns as insurance, logistics and fuel prices rose amid regional unrest.

Energy segment revenue grew nine per cent. Dredging and marine business net profit rose eight per cent, and the segment accounted for 34 per cent of group revenue and 82 per cent of net profit. UAE operations generated 78 per cent of revenue.

Third-quarter revenue rose one per cent year on year to AED7.275 billion, while quarterly net profit fell 24 per cent to AED768 million.

Net cash from operating activities was AED2.002 billion, compared with an outflow of AED180 million a year earlier. Capital expenditure of AED846 million included an advance payment for a cutter suction dredger. Free cash flow was AED1.156 billion.

During the nine months, the group secured project awards worth AED9.7 billion, including AED4.9 billion for the dredging and marine business. Third-quarter dredging and marine awards included AED0.4 billion of dredging work for Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited in India.

Backlog stood at AED51.3 billion at September 30. Including AED2.8 billion of NMDC Energy orders received in October, the group reported a backlog of AED54.1 billion.

Earlier in October, the group inaugurated its 148-metre cutter suction dredger Abu Al Bakhoush in Nantong, China. The vessel was built by Jiangsu Haixin Shipping Heavy Industry. The company said the dredger expands its capacity for rock cutting and for excavating trenches, navigation channels and harbours.
