GEAR | Seawork 2025 to include decarbonisation among agenda topics

Published on:

The European Onshore Power Supply Association (EOPSA) is supporting Seawork in 2025 with a pavilion in the Associations Hall.

The 2025 Seawork conference programme will be focused on decarbonisation with free-to-attend sessions covering insights and learnings on topical key themes in discussions across the industry.

Roland Teixeira de Mattos, President of EOPSA, will be moderating the session on the latest developments in onshore power supply, with a panel of speakers including: Leo Hambro, Commercial Director of Tidal Transit; Lex Hanham, Business Development Manager at Associated British Ports; Andy Hurley, Director of Marine Zero; and Chris Poyner, Head of Shore Power at ABB.

The other sessions will tackle future fuels with case studies highlighting real world applications and industry learnings and how AI and autonomy are helping to optimise performance across fleets.

This year's Seawork will also feature a number of electric vessels such as a demonstrator powered by Momentum Electric Marine's 10kW outboard and Odyssey Boats' rigid inflatable boat fitted with a RAD Propulsion 615kWh battery-powered outboard.

Other exhibitors will include Bluestorm, Molabo, Rim Drive Technology, Vessev, BOS Power, Echandia Marine, Ecomar Propulsion, Energy Solutions, ePropulsion, and Lehmann Marine.

Seawork 2025 will take place from June 10 to 12, and the related conference Speed@Seawork will be held on June 9 in Cowes, Isle of Wight.
