GEAR | NEVA 2021 details announced

The 16th edition of the Russian maritime trade show NEVA will be held at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre on September 21 – 24, 2021.

NEVA styles itself as an international platform for business cooperation and expert dialogue among specialists creating a wide range of civilian vessels and marine equipment for development of the ocean and the continental shelf, including the Arctic zone and the Northern Sea Route.

The exhibition is involved in the development of shipping on inland waterways, the modernisation of fishing fleets and specialised vessels, and the upgrading of port facilities.

According to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, NEVA 2019 was the largest in the modern history of the event, with 654 exhibitors and more than 24,000 visitors.

In 2021, the organiser is planning the main conference to cover the topical issues regarding the development of shipbuilding and shipping industries. The conference will be divided into specialised units of 1.5 to two hours each. The invited speakers will be drawn from leading companies, shipyards and design bureaus to international institutions and specialised media.
