Interferry has confirmed the lineup of participants on the two Ferry Leaders Panels at Interferry2023, the 47th Annual Interferry Conference.
Interferry2023 will take place in Hobart, Tasmania, on November 4 to 8, 2023, with the theme of "The Leading Edge – Elevating the Customer Experience and Sustainability". The signature Ferry Leaders Panels traditionally close each conference day, giving industry leaders and delegates the chance to review and reflect on what they have seen and heard at the conference.
Panelists on Day 1, November 6, are:
Götz Becker of FRS, Germany; Erik Bombard of Catalina Express, USA; Christophe Mathieu of Brittany Ferries, France; Nell Payne of NRMA, Australia; and Walter Rushbrook of Interislander, New Zealand.
The participants in the panel on Day 2, November 7, are:
Governor Jay Inslee of Washington State, USA; Niclas Mårtensson of Stena Line, Sweden; Shane McMahon of StraitNZ/Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferries, New Zealand; Supapan Pichaironarongsongkram of Chao Phraya Express Boat, Thailand; and Matthew Portelli of Virtu Ferries, Malta.
"The hour-long Ferry Leaders Panel is a tradition at the end of each day of our conference," said Mike Corrigan, CEO of Interferry. "Once again, the panels bring together a broad array of leaders in our industry, both in terms of operational profile and geographic location. We will also enable all delegates to directly engage in discussion with the panelists in real time via the Interferry2023 conference app, thus keeping the discussions inclusive, lively and informative."
