Ausmarine 2010 to feature two conferences

Ausmarine 2010 to feature two conferences
Published on

To be held in Perth in November, the Ausmarine 2010 exhibition will be enhanced by two focused and very appropriate conferences.

Both are being designed to educate, inform and inspire delegates as to the very real commercial opportunities arising in the Indian Ocean.

One, to be presented by IMAREST, the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, will be technical. It will look at the vessels and structures required for Australia's very fast developing offshore industries.

The other, to be organised and presented by Commodore Sam Bateman, RAN Retd, PhD, of the University of Wollongong and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, will be on the theme "Australia and the Indian Ocean – a SWOT analysis."

Brief and to the point, both conferences will reward delegates with an intense overview of what lies ahead for Australia's maritime sector. More details will be supplied in the coming months.
