Germanischer Lloyd subsidiary Noble Denton has been awarded a lucrative contract by China's Zhejiang Shipbuilding Company for its failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and trials for a DP3 newbuild programme.
Noble Denton will work with Zhejiang to develop a programme which satisfied both the owner and GL class requirements for the ten vessels.
Noble Denton will provide specialist support at the design and planning stages of the project and offer guidance on the implications of the design and placement of equipment.
