Solasafe installed on cruise ship ‘Veendam’
Published on

UK-based Solar Solve Marine has just delivered a consignment of 23 Solasafe screens to Tampa, USA for Holland America Lines' luxury cruise ship 'Veendam'. The 55,451GT vessel was built in 1996 as the fourth and final unit of the popular Statendam-class.

The vessel has a maximum passenger capacity of 1,613 and spends her winters in the Caribbean and summers in Alaska. The roller screens were ordered by the captain to replace the ones that were installed when the vessel was built 12 years ago.
